Honor goldens serve in veterans hospitals, mobility recovery programs, disaster response teams, handicapped and special needs, children with cancer, and has partnered with many service dog organizations producing top graduates to serve America's military and it's wounded warriors. Honor continues to provide extraordinary and talented goldens to hospitals, as court house canines, airport therapy dogs, caring for children with autism and many other jobs where canines excel at serving society.
To date, Honor Service Dogs has provided more than 425 working goldens to the special needs community, serving people as therapists, special assistants and support for mobility, mental and emotional challenges.
Honor utilizes their established American lineage bred with english cream golden retrievers from Sweden, the Ukraine, the Netherlands, and Austria to produce beautiful goldens with long-lived genetics and exquisite temperaments.
Because of these wonderful attributes, an Honor golden typifies everything a service canine and family pet can represent. Producing this wonderful breed is a joy and a challenge we take very seriously.
Since the early 1960's, Honor has had a successful history of American Kennel Club (A.K.C.) Champions, a prestigious presidential placement and placements with world famous authors, entertainers and government officials as well as service super dogs. Throughout the past 50 years, Honor has ranked as a top breeder and producer with over 400 titled Show, Agility and Obedience Champions along with numerous field trial dogs. This includes countless Golden Retriever Club of America (G.R.C.A.) recognition's of top producing sires and dams.
Honor achieved the distinct recognition of placing and training 'Liberty' in the White House during President Gerald Ford's term in office. Today, the Ford family continues to love and own Honor goldens. In a personal letter from 1976 President Gerald and Betty Ford wrote: "It is definitely heartwarming to know how dogs can bring such a joy and help to so many. Keep up the good work!"
Today, Honor Service Dogs are working in countless veterans hospitals, crisis response teams, children with disabilities and the list goes on. Honor has successfully bred 'blended' American golden retrievers with english cream golden retrievers for beauty, intelligence and longevity for service work or as your family golden retriever.

“The love that your dog has for you is as close as you will come on this earth to the love that Jesus Christ has for you: unconditional. The relationship between a dog and his master is strikingly similar to the relationship between a believer in Jesus Christ and God.” Psalms and Proverbs for Dogs by Chris Nagy
